About The Position

Vivvi is hiring Assistant Teachers for a new child care center in Elon, North Carolina. The role supports the well-being and development of infant, toddler, and preschool-aged children and helps deliver progressive, inquiry-based learning. Assistant Teachers engage children through positive language, loving care, and interactive play; supervise them closely and follow health and safety protocols; and perform the Head Teacher’s duties in their absence. The center uses a child-centered approach in which educators observe children’s interests and develop curriculum inspired by their curiosity. Vivvi provides onboarding, ongoing professional development, and individual coaching and feedback.

Requirements

Have 1–2 years of professional experience working with children aged 0–5.
Hold a Child Development Associate (CDA).
Hold North Carolina Child Development Credentials I and II.
Be a flexible, communicative, dependable, and positive team player passionate about working with young learners.
Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Have a strong foundation in child development and a desire to grow as a career educator.

Nice To Haves

An associate degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) is preferred.
