About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides for its infant and toddler classrooms at its Wilton school. Assistant Guides support children from infancy through age six as they develop independence, confidence, and a love of learning. They help maintain a calm, engaging Montessori environment where children can explore and learn at their own pace, and assist with individualized and small-group activities. The role emphasizes observing and responding to each child’s needs, preparing intentional learning spaces, and building warm, respectful relationships with children and families. The position offers Montessori training, mentorship, professional development, and opportunities for career growth.

Requirements

• Experience working with children under 24 months old in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach.

Nice To Haves

• Prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.
