About The Position

This role supports the daily care and development of children at a child care center. Assistant Teachers help create an engaging, fun, clean, and organized classroom while following licensing guidelines and company standards. They develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children, communicating with families, and learning about childcare, preschool, and child development through extensive training.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children accurately.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Engage in physical activity with children, indoors or outdoors.
