About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care and learning of children at a child care center. The role follows licensing guidelines and company standards, maintains a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and helps children become lifelong learners. The Assistant Teacher develops skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. Compensation is based on position, education, and experience; the listed Assistant Teacher pay range is $19.02–$19.76. Bi-weekly and daily pay options are available.

- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
