About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring an Assistant Guide for its Kendall Park school. The role supports a mixed-age Montessori classroom, including infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6. The Assistant Guide helps create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. This includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. The role also helps children build confidence and discover their capabilities.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
