About The Position
This role supports children’s care and learning at a child care center. Assistant Teachers follow licensing guidelines and company standards to provide daily care, maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized, and engage with children. They develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating effectively with families. The position includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Observe, assess, and plan for children.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
- Engage in physical activity with children indoors or outdoors.
