About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on inspiring children to become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers support the daily care and development of children, help maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develop skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating effectively with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

• Pay of $16.48–$17.12 hourly, paid bi-weekly, with Daily Pay options; pay is based on position, education, and experience.
