About The Position

Guidepost Montessori is hiring Assistant Guides for its Magnificent Mile school. Assistant Guides support mixed-age Montessori classrooms serving infants, toddlers, and children ages 3–6. They help create a calm, engaging environment where children can explore, learn, and grow at their own pace. The role includes preparing intentional learning spaces and supporting individualized and small-group activities with respect, patience, and care. Assistant Guides help children build confidence and develop independence, curiosity, and a love of learning.

Requirements

• Experience working with children ages 3–6 in a school, early childhood, or childcare setting.
• A positive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset.
• A genuine love for working with young children.
• Interest in learning and growing within the Montessori approach; prior Montessori experience is welcome but not required.

• Observe children closely to understand and support their individual needs.
• Help prepare and maintain a beautiful, orderly classroom environment.
