About The Position
The childcare center is hiring Lead and Assistant Teachers who will inspire children to become lifelong learners. Assistant Teachers help provide daily care in accordance with licensing guidelines and company standards, maintain a fun and interactive classroom that is clean and organized, observe and assess children, help plan for children, and communicate effectively with families. They complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
Requirements
- Passion for working with children.
- Energetic and dependable.
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
- Observe and assess children and help plan for their needs.
- Communicate effectively with families.
- Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
