About The Position

The Assistant Teacher works in a child care center to support the daily care, learning, and development of children. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and building skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating effectively with families. Extensive training is provided on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children.

Requirements

• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

• Hourly pay of $18.13–$18.83, with bi-weekly and Daily Pay options; pay is based on position, education, and experience.
