About The Position

This role supports the daily care and development of children in a child care center. Assistant Teachers follow licensing guidelines and company standards, help maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and build skills in observing, assessing, and planning for children and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training in childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.
• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
