Assistant Teacher - Kids Discovery
About The Position
Early Learning Academies (ELA), through Excel Creative Early Learning, is seeking an Assistant Teacher to help provide young children with an exceptional early learning experience. The position is suited to candidates who are passionate about nurturing young minds and bring energy, compassion, and a genuine interest in positively impacting children’s lives. Prior childcare experience is not required. Employment requires completion of a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse. Candidates must also meet applicable state, federal, and Early Learning Academies requirements regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physicals, and required health and safety training and practices. A valid driver’s license is required if driving is a requirement of the position. The listed pay range is $15–$15.50 USD. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with no nights or weekends.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must meet all state, federal, and Early Learning Academies guidelines regarding education, experience, immunizations, employment physical, and required health and safety training and practices.
- Must complete a Level 2 background screening through the Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse.
- A valid driver's license is required if driving is a requirement of the position.
