About The Position

This is more than just a daycare job. It’s a journey, where you learn, grow, thrive—and play—every day. Assistant Teachers help inspire children to become lifelong learners. They support children’s daily care, maintain an engaging and organized classroom, develop skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, and communicate with families. They complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe and assess children and plan for their needs.
• Effectively communicate with families.
• Complete extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
• Work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
