About The Position

The Malvern School is seeking a highly motivated, career-oriented Assistant Teacher with a passion for Early Childhood Education for the classroom at The Malvern School of Marlboro. This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. The Assistant Teacher helps implement the school’s Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and its educational philosophy, maintains a safe, healthy, and educational classroom environment, and communicates regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding their expectations.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• At least 18 years of age.
• At least 2,500 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility; or 15 relevant college credits (or a CDA) and at least 1,250 hours of documented experience with young children in a licensed facility.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the Early Childhood Education program in accordance with school policies and the Malvern School philosophy.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, and educational environment for the class.
• Communicate regularly with parents in person and through technology, meeting or exceeding parent expectations.
