About The Position

This role supports the care and development of children at a child care center. Assistant Teachers help create a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized, and follow licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure each child receives daily care. The role includes developing the ability to observe, assess, and plan for children and to communicate effectively with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
