About The Position

The Assistant Teacher supports the early learning environment by assisting teachers and bus drivers in creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging experience for children. The role supports classroom and transportation needs, provides individualized care, and helps children meet developmental milestones in accordance with Head Start standards. It contributes to high-quality early childhood education, school readiness, and positive family relationships.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• No prior experience required; training is provided.
• Must begin the Child Development Associate (CDA) credentialing process within one year of hire.

• Support classroom and transportation needs.
