Assistant Teacher
About The Position
The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care and learning of children in a child care center. The role involves following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and developing the ability to observe and assess children, plan for their needs, and communicate effectively with families. The company provides extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position requires working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.
Requirements
- Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
- Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
- Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.
Responsibilities
- Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
- Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.

- Hourly pay of $17.51–$18.19, based on position, education, and experience.
