About The Position
Children of America is hiring an Assistant Teacher to work alongside educators in a supportive early childhood education environment. The organization serves children ages 6 weeks to 12 years through Infant, Toddler, Preschool, Pre-K, Before & After Care, and Summer Camp programs. The role interacts daily with children, parents, management, and teaching staff to support a collaborative and positive learning environment. Employees are encouraged to grow professionally and may demonstrate willingness to advance into a Lead Teacher role. The Assistant Teacher carries out daily lesson plans, helps maintain a safe and structured learning environment, communicates professionally with families and colleagues, and uses technology to document and deliver child progress reports. The role calls for empathy, age-appropriate expectations, creativity, engagement, and adaptability. Offers are contingent upon successful completion of a background check and submission of required state documents.
Requirements
