About The Position

Assistant Teachers support the daily care and development of children in a child care center. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, help maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and develop skills in observing and assessing children, planning for their needs, and communicating with families. The role includes extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics. The position involves working indoors or outdoors and engaging in physical activity with children. The work week is Monday through Friday.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.

Responsibilities
