About The Position

This is a child care center role focused on helping children learn, grow, and thrive. The Assistant Teacher supports the daily care of every child by following licensing guidelines and company standards, maintaining a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, and engaging with children. The role also develops the ability to observe and assess children, plan for their needs, and communicate effectively with families. Extensive training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics is provided.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic, dependable, and passionate about working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Engage with children and develop the ability to observe, assess, and plan for them.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
