About The Position

Assistant Teachers help inspire children to become lifelong learners by supporting their care and learning in a child care center. They follow licensing guidelines and company standards, help maintain a fun, interactive, clean, and organized classroom, develop skills in observing and assessing children and planning for their needs, communicate effectively with families, and complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development.

Requirements

• Ability to meet state and/or accreditation requirements for education and experience.
• Ability to work indoors or outdoors and engage in physical activity with children.
• Energetic and dependable, with a passion for working with children.

Responsibilities

• Follow all licensing guidelines and company standards to ensure the daily care of every child.
• Maintain a fun, interactive classroom that is clean and organized.
• Develop the ability to accurately observe, assess, and plan for children.
• Communicate effectively with families.
• Complete training on childcare, preschool, and child development topics.
