About The Position
The Learning Experience is seeking a passionate, caring, and creative Assistant Part-time Teacher to help children learn, play, grow, and thrive in a positive and engaging learning environment. This entry-level role partners with preschool teachers to implement the company’s proprietary curriculum and uses engaging characters to make learning fun. The role also helps maintain classroom and program quality, health, and safety; contributes to a welcoming and engaging environment; and communicates with families about children’s experiences and achievements.
Requirements
- Genuine passion for the education and care of children.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Meet applicable state licensing requirements for the role.
Nice To Haves
- Early childhood education coursework preferred.
Responsibilities
- Partner with preschool teachers to implement the proprietary curriculum and use engaging characters to make learning fun.
- Maintain quality compliance and health and safety standards in daycare classrooms and programs.
- Collaborate with peers to create a positive working environment and a welcoming, engaging space for children.
- Communicate with parents and families about children’s adventures and achievements through mobile apps and personal discussions.
