Assistant Teacher/ Floater
About The Position
Cadence Education is seeking an enthusiastic Assistant Teacher/Floater to help create a joyful, nurturing environment for young learners, with a particular focus on infants. The role supports the school’s philosophy and helps maintain a positive, engaging learning space. The assistant teacher/floater works with educators to provide age-appropriate curriculum and activities, observe and respond to children’s interests, support their safety and development, and communicate daily milestones to parents. The role requires flexibility to step in where needed during business hours and alignment with a team-oriented approach to early childhood education.

Responsibilities
- Support Cadence Education’s philosophy and contribute to a positive, engaging learning environment.
- Document children’s daily milestones and share them with parents.
- Collaborate with educators to deliver a lively, age-appropriate curriculum that sparks curiosity.
- Follow children’s interests, keep them safe, and extend their play with language, toys, and activities.
- Model and encourage age-appropriate social behaviors.
- Share ideas for a balanced daily schedule that includes quiet and active periods, indoor and outdoor activities, and fine and gross motor activities.
