About The Position

This role supports both the Dynamis Tasting Lodge operations and contributes to its success and growth. The position requires gracious and efficient communication skills with customers, a business focus, attention to detail and good collaboration across the Dynamis team. This person works closely with the Tasting Lodge Manager, assisting in all aspects of the Direct-to-Consumer business (Tasting Lodge, Wine Club, eCommerce).

  • Good communication and organizational skills with attention to details and follow-up
  • Proficient in common business software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Provide and ensure a welcoming and positive experience for all Dynamis Tasting Lodge guests.
  • Work hands-on in the Tasting Lodge in the Host position, which includes handling phone and email inquiries, greeting guests, assigning wine ambassadors to guest tables, etc.
  • Build strong relationships with guests and members and foster loyalty and satisfaction.
  • On days the Tasting Lodge manager is not present, supervise and manage the Tasting Lodge staff, ensure the daily opening and closing procedures of the Tasting Lodge are completed, divide up cash tips among hospitality staff and review/audit daily orders to identify issues and ensure accuracy.
  • Assist with monitoring and ensuring the cleanliness of the Tasting Lodge, scheduling maintenance and service of necessary equipment. Monitor levels of cleaning and kitchen supplies and request procurement of needed supplies.
  • Help the Tasting Lodge team in accurately processing club membership enrollments & auditing new enrollments.
  • Assist with crafting and sending regular email marketing messages to our general email list to drive wine sales, event ticket sales, winery visits, etc.
  • Assist with planning and publicizing events at the Tasting Lodge.
  • Assist with phone, web and email orders and fulfillment / shipping.
  • Assist with hospitality staff scheduling for Tasting Lodge and Events.
  • Assist with hiring and firing decisions.
