About The Position

The YMCA is seeking an Assistant Swim Coach in Doylestown, Pennsylvania, to work with young athletes and support them in competitive swimming. The role involves relating to student-athletes, encouraging them, and serving as a positive role model. The position is part-time and hourly, paying $15–$20 per hour. Lifesaving certification training is provided.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have participated in competitive swimming as a student-athlete.
• Have worked with children ages 7–18 as a coach or educator.
• Be able to serve as a positive role model for swimmers.
• Obtain First Aid, CPR, AED, and Emergency Oxygen lifesaving certifications; training is provided.

Responsibilities

• Relate to young student-athletes in the sport of swimming.
• Use knowledge of competitive swimming to support swimmers.
• Listen to student-athletes and encourage them as a positive role model.
