About The Position

The Assistant Superintendent provides developing field leadership for Marian Construction projects and is accountable for reliable execution within assigned areas, scopes, or zones of work. This role exists to support disciplined planning, inspection, and coordination while learning to operate Marian’s field operating systems with consistency and rigor. The Assistant Superintendent produces results by preparing work before it starts, tracking make-ready conditions, coordinating trades within assigned areas, inspecting safety and quality using approved standards, and escalating issues early. This role is not responsible for overall project outcomes but is expected to demonstrate reliability, preparation, and inspection discipline at all times. This position will be specifically for our active Eastfield Reserve project located in Evansville, IN. This job is expected to last another 16 months. Once completed, this position will be released.

Requirements

Previous experience in construction supervision, trade leadership, or equivalent.
Working knowledge of construction sequencing, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Ability to observe work critically and communicate clearly.
Willingness to learn and operate standardized systems and tools.
Positive attitude toward discipline, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Excellent written/oral communication and negotiation skills.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules.
