About The Position

This role is responsible for supporting the Superintendent in overseeing all on-site construction activities, coordinating field employees, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project schedules are met. The position involves maintaining daily progress reports, managing permits and inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. We are looking for an individual who can champion our brand and contribute to our success.

Requirements

  • Ability to read and understand project documents, e.g., drawings, specifications, RFI's, submittals, subcontracts, and the owner agreement terms and conditions specific to your role.
  • Lead the morale and attitude of the crew.
  • May require performing general physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping and handling of materials.
  • Ability to understand project scheduling and cost control.
  • Working knowledge of or demonstrate willingness to learn how to use the following software applications: MS Outlook, Word, Adobe Reader/BlueBeam, ProCore/ Project Sight and Viewpoint Field Work Center.
  • Demonstrate good attention to detail with the ability to recognize discrepancies on project plans.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the supervision of all on-site construction for the jobsite.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of field employees, subcontractors, and material vendors to expedite the project schedule.
  • Maintain daily progress reporting and paperwork, including daily reports with pictures of work progress, payroll and equipment time reporting for crew, field reports, schedule updates, and email correspondence.
  • Champion and protect the brand of a rapidly growing Company.
  • Manage the permit and inspection process.
  • Attend or conduct regularly scheduled progress meetings.
  • Ensure that operations conform to local, state, and federal safety laws and regulations.
