About The Position

StorageMart is hiring an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations and help grow the business while delivering a strong customer experience. The role involves assisting the Store Manager, interacting with customers by phone, in person, and email, maintaining the facility, managing customer accounts and administrative tasks, and occasionally supporting other store locations. The role is based in Waukee, Iowa, and pays $15.50 per hour.

Requirements

Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Willingness to work outdoors and maintain the grounds.
Valid driver's license, valid vehicle insurance, and access to a vehicle; mileage for travel between stores is reimbursed.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with the Store Manager to support operations, grow the business, and maximize sales.
Assist customers by phone, in person, and email, addressing their needs and providing support.
Open, operate, and close the office.
Perform light maintenance and clean the property to keep it clean, safe, and secure.
Handle customer accounts, assist with account setup, and perform administrative tasks, including debt management.
Occasionally travel to support other store locations and maintain consistent standards.
Work outdoors and maintain the grounds as needed.
