About The Position
Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help achieve sales and profit projections. The role focuses on maintaining individual and team performance standards, creating an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, and developing team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation. The Assistant Store Manager also participates in recruiting and selecting team members, enforces Company policies and procedures, and performs other operational and strategic duties. The company provides training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills to support career development. It values integrity, diversity, teamwork, advancement, and promoting from within.
Requirements
- At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
- Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
- Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
- Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
