About The Position

Banter by Piercing Pagoda is seeking a driven, creative Assistant Store Manager to support the Store Manager and help deliver a strong customer experience. The Assistant Store Manager helps maintain daily focus on individual and team achievement of standards to attain sales and profit projections, contributes to an atmosphere of total customer satisfaction, develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selection. The role also involves following and enforcing Company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties.

The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, along with career development and advancement opportunities. Compensation is listed as base pay of $16.50–$21.00 plus sales commission; the final rate depends on experience and qualifications.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
