About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking a driven and creative Assistant Store Manager to help deliver an outstanding customer experience and support the store’s sales and business goals. The Assistant Store Manager assists the Store Manager with daily focus on individual and team-member standards, sales and profit projections, customer satisfaction, team-member training and evaluation, and recruiting and selection. The role also involves following and enforcing company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. The company offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and skills, with opportunities for career advancement and promotion from within.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
• Commitment to excellence, desire to grow, and ability to provide a superior customer experience.
