About The Position

Foodland Super Market, Ltd is seeking energetic, outgoing, and responsible individuals with prior management experience and a passion for excellent customer service to join their team as an Assistant Store Manager. This full-time position offers up to a $1,000 hiring bonus, paid in installments based on duration of continued employment. The Assistant Store Director is responsible for observing and enforcing all store rules and company policies, actively supporting the Store Director, and performing all duties of the Store Director in their absence. They contribute to the profitable operation of the store, handle customer complaints, and ensure all store personnel are courteous to customers. The role also requires maintaining a neat personal appearance, observing the company dress code, and abiding by all company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school education with some college background preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
• At least 5 years’ experience in the supermarket industry
• Prior management experience required
• Must successfully pass math test
• Must successfully pass cashier training after hire
• Must successfully pass office clerk training after hire
• Must be able to work nights and weekends
• TB Clearance required
• Must comply with all company policies and requirements
