We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to live our purpose of: Sharing our Passion for People and Spirits at our Coquitlam - Lougheed location! Requirements

• Proven leader with a passion for the craft beer, wine and spirits industry
• Experience in coaching, training, managing and scheduling
• Possesses a positive attitude and has the ability to energize a team
• Effective communicator with the ability to share knowledge with our team and our guests
• The ultimate team player
• Ability to create a ‘wow’ experience for our guests and coaches others to do the same
• Embodies the JAK’s values of Caring, Learning, Integrity, Hospitality.

Nice To Haves

• Wine Knowledge of WSET 2 or WSET 3 is considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Ensure JAK's brand promises are consistently delivered: Unique product selection, outstanding service, unmatched in-store experience.
• Facilitate a fun work environment by bringing positive energy to work, energizing the team and inspiring others to do the same.
• Assist in leading and managing a team of customer service/sales specialists
• Develop successful people by providing training, mentoring and coaching to the team.
• Ensure all JAK'S standards are met and exceeded to deliver an outstanding retail experience.
• Participate in the hiring process by collaborating with the store manager and/or the Director of People & Culture on new hires
• Communicate and achieve the budgeted key performance indicators within the team for your store
• Create and implement customer-focused business strategies
• Participate in the performance management process, memorable experiences, and grow both personally and professionally
