About The Position

Kay Jewelers is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to assist the Store Manager with daily store operations and team performance. The role focuses on helping individual team members and the team achieve standards, sales goals, and profit projections while contributing to total customer satisfaction. The Assistant Store Manager develops team members’ skills and product knowledge through training and evaluation, and participates in recruiting and selecting team members. The position also involves following and enforcing Company policies and procedures and performing other operational and strategic duties. Kay offers training in sales techniques, product knowledge, and career skills, and maintains a promotion-from-within philosophy.

Requirements

• At least one year of retail experience; experience with a jeweler or specialty retailer is preferred.
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners and using basic computer software and hardware.
• Ability to interpret instructions in written, oral, diagram, and schedule form.
• Availability to work days, nights, and weekends.
