About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring management team members for its Pier Park store in Panama City Beach, Florida. Management team members oversee daily store operations, develop and motivate employees, and deliver strong customer experiences. The role supports sales and profitability through merchandise management, promotional strategies, budget and expense oversight, and analysis of sales results. It also includes inventory management, visual merchandising, store maintenance, policy and safety compliance, community engagement, and identifying improvements to store operations. The position requires availability during the hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights. Assistant Store Managers have a minimum standard work week of five days and average 44 hours per week, with longer hours during peak sales periods. Supervisors must be available at least five days per week and work a minimum standard of 30 hours weekly. All management team members must be available on weekends and holidays. The work is in a moderately noisy retail setting and involves prolonged standing, stocking and retrieving merchandise, and other physical tasks. A high school diploma or GED is required. Two or more years of retail leadership experience is strongly preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants must be at least 18 years old. Requirements

Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for customer service and creating memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Availability for flexible hours, including mornings, days, nights, weekends, and holidays, as applicable to the management role.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
Assistant Store Manager: open availability during store opening and closing hours; minimum five-day standard work week; average 44-hour work week, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
Supervisor: availability during store opening and closing hours and at least five days of availability; minimum standard 30-hour work week.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak, read, and write English clearly, converse with customers, supervise staff, and perform business-related mathematics and understand corporate sales reports.
May need to move to different locations within the company network based on operational needs and career growth.
High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Must be at least 18 years old.
