About The Position

JD Finish Line is hiring store management team members for its Daytona Outlet location in Daytona Beach, Florida. Management team members oversee daily store operations, lead and develop staff, and deliver exceptional customer experiences. The roles contribute to store sales, profitability, operational performance, and community engagement. The posting lists Assistant Store Manager and Supervisor positions, with distinct availability and weekly-hour requirements for each. The work takes place in a moderately noisy retail setting and may require moving to different company locations based on operational needs and career growth.

Requirements

For the Assistant Store Manager role, open availability during hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; a minimum standard work week of five days; and an average standard work week of 44 hours, with increased hours during peak sales periods.
For the Supervisor role, availability during hours needed to open and close the store, including mornings, days, and nights; at least five days of availability; and a minimum standard work week of 30 hours.
Availability on weekends and holidays for all management roles.
Punctuality and regular attendance consistent with company policies.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to speak English clearly to converse with customers and effectively supervise staff.
Ability to read and write English and perform business-related mathematics to carry out normal business and understand corporate sales reports.
Proven experience as a Retail Store Manager or in a similar role, with a record of achieving sales targets and managing a team.
Strong leadership, communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Passion for outstanding customer service and memorable shopping experiences.
Ability to analyze sales data, manage budgets, and make data-driven decisions.
Proficiency in retail management software and basic computer applications.
High school diploma or GED equivalent, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to meet the listed physical demands, including prolonged standing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, pulling, climbing ladders or stairs, and regularly lifting items weighing 5–25 pounds; heavier weights may be required in some circumstances.
Good vision, including color differentiation.

Responsibilities
