About The Position

Hand & Stone Massage and Facial Spa in South Austin is hiring for an Assistant Spa Manager. The Assistant Spa Manager works alongside Spa Associates at the front desk answering phones, booking appointments, greeting customers, and selling memberships and spa packages. In addition, the Assistant Manager ensures smooth spa operations by managing schedules, maintaining spa supplies, and handling any customer or therapist questions. We are looking for someone with a passion for people and sales, a high level of enthusiasm, and the ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of massage therapy and facials. This role requires knowledge of all spa services and product lines, and the ability to balance coaching/mentoring with disciplining.

Requirements

Retail management/sales experience
Demonstrated ability to coach while also taking directive from Spa Manager
Strong organizational/planning and computer skills
Ability to promote the health and wellness benefits of both massage therapy and facials
Ability to work flexible schedule including days/evenings/weekends/holidays
Knowledge and understanding of all spa services and product line
Demonstrated ability to balance coaching/mentoring with disciplining

Nice To Haves

Experience in selling memberships is a plus
Experience with a booking system is a plus
