Our strategy team helps brands understand what’s happening across culture, social media, creators, and communities, then turns those insights into smart, social-first ideas. We’re looking for a curious, culturally plugged-in Assistant Social Strategist to support social and influencer strategy for a flagship client. This role is ideal for someone early in their career who loves social media, follows trends obsessively, and wants to learn how strategy shapes campaigns and content. You’ll help the team track trends, monitor conversations online, support reporting, and uncover insights that help guide creative and influencer work. You’ll work closely with strategy, creative, influencer, and paid media teams while building the foundations of social-first marketing.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience in marketing, social media, strategy, communications, or a related field
  • Familiarity with platforms like TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging social platforms
  • Interest in social listening, analytics, creators, and digital culture
  • Experience with presentation tools like Google Slides or PowerPoint
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, fast-moving environment

Nice To Haves

  • Internship or experience in social media, influencer marketing, or advertising is a plus
  • Experience with social listening or analytics tools is a bonus, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist with social listening, trend, and conversation tracking across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, Reddit, and emerging platforms
  • Help gather audience, creator, and competitive research
  • Support weekly and monthly reporting across social and influencer campaigns
  • Help track content and creator performance to identify what’s resonating
  • Support the strategy team in day-to-day account needs
  • Stay on top of platform updates, creator trends, and internet culture
  • Contribute ideas during brainstorms and planning sessions
  • Learn how social insights translate into strategy, creative development, and campaign execution
