About The Position

The Assistant Site Manager assists the site manager in operating the store and meeting customer service needs. The role also focuses on sales by engaging potential customers, presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages, and upselling products to existing customers. The Assistant Site Manager helps maintain site operations, support and develop the team, manage labor and expenditures, and ensure that quality, cash-handling, inventory, and safety procedures are followed. The position includes learning the wash process and equipment and pursuing further growth through educational and training opportunities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year of leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation tactics.
• Basic IT and computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
• Strong verbal communication skills for engaging effectively with customers.
• Ability to provide and follow clear directions.
• Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.
• Ability to coach, mentor, and train.
• Present a professional image according to appearance guidelines.
• Ability to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
• Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.

• Manage labor and staff scheduling successfully.

• Follow cash-management procedures, including daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
• Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
• Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
• Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.
• Learn the wash process and equipment to expand job knowledge.
• Pursue growth through educational and training opportunities.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
