About The Position

The Assistant Site Manager assists the site manager in ensuring the store operates effectively and meets customer service needs. The role also focuses on sales by engaging potential customers, presenting monthly unlimited car wash packages, and upselling products to existing customers. At Clean Express Auto Wash, the position supports fast, eco-friendly services, exceptional customer care, and community engagement, with opportunities for growth into leadership roles. The role is based at 33721 Vine St, Eastlake, Ohio, 44095, and pays $22.00 per hour, with potential additional incentives based on site performance.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required.
Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
At least 2 years of customer service experience, including de-escalation tactics.
Basic IT and computer proficiency, including POS systems and Microsoft Office.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
Strong verbal communication skills to engage effectively with customers.
Ability to provide and follow clear directions.
Ability to close the site at least two nights per week and open as needed.
Ability to coach, mentor, and train.
Present a professional image according to appearance guidelines.
Ability to stand and move throughout the site for the entire shift and work on foot for an entire shift in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work outside in all weather conditions.
Ability to lift 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

Maintain high-quality day-to-day on-site store operations.
Lead with integrity and foster a culture of respectful accountability.

Manage labor and staff scheduling effectively.
Manage P&L by monitoring chemicals, utilities, and other expenditures.
Maintain quality assurance through accurate quality-control checks.
Follow cash-management procedures, including daily reconciliations, audits, and deposits.
Monitor inventory and supplies and assist with orders.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
Address customer escalations calmly and professionally.
Learn the wash process and equipment to expand job knowledge.
Pursue growth through educational and training opportunities.
Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
