Assistant Service Manager- Audi San Diego
About The Position
Holman is a family-owned, global automotive services organization. Audi San Diego has an opportunity for an Assistant Service Manager to join the Holman family. The Assistant Service Manager will offer and ensure the highest level of customer service from the shop. They will assist the service manager in managing all aspects of service department operations, including staffing, vehicle services, warranty administration, client retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records. This role serves as a liaison between various departments and personnel, including the Shop Foreman, Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, Technicians, and Warranty Administration. The Assistant Service Manager will work to ensure employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, and return on investment through communication, oversight, and direction. They will also promote the recruitment and development of service staff and act as a liaison with the manufacturer to achieve factory objectives. All other duties and special projects as assigned.

Responsibilities
- Offers and ensures that the shop offers the highest level of customer service
- Assists the service manager in managing all aspects of service department operations: staffing, provision of vehicle services, warranty administration, client retention, cost controls, achievement of objectives, and maintenance of all service records
- Serves as a liaison between the Shop Foreman, Service Advisors, Parts Personnel, Technicians and Warranty Administration
- Through communication, oversight and direction works to ensure employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction and return on investment
- Promotes the recruitment and development of some or all: Service Advisors, Service Porters, Service Assistants, Valet Drivers, Loaner Coordinators
- Liaison with the manufacturer; works with factory representative to achieve factory objectives
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned
