About The Position

The Assistant Scheduler is responsible for creating and maintaining various schedules, including master schedules, open/close schedules, recess and lunch schedules, and assignment of Disaster Plan responsibilities. This role also involves assigning coverage for absences and call-outs, managing daily schedule changes, and making adjustments in the billing software program. The Assistant Scheduler will also assist other schedulers, print and process billing for specific services, and create and post Speech and OT schedules, ensuring timely entry of billing information. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Minimum of a high school diploma required
  • 2+ years experience supporting at the executive level
  • Ability to stand, sit, stoop, reach, push, and lift 30 pounds
  • Normal visual, vocal & hearing acuity
  • Use of a computer
  • Ability to travel via automobile
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check
  • Must be able to pass reference checks
  • Must provide immunization records including a negative TB test
  • Must provide education verification
  • Must possess a current driver’s license and proof of valid auto insurance
  • Must have reliable means of transportation
  • Availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Quality Control: Ability to be detail oriented with few errors. Should be able to stay focused without being easily distracted. Checks own work for accuracy. Excellent organizational skills are required.

Information that is of confidential nature is never to be discussed with others without the approval of the director(s).

  • Print and process DDS billing sheets
  • Creates and posts Speech and OT schedules
  • Enter Speech billing by the 15th and end of the month
