Assistant Salon Manager
About The Position
Join the locally owned Great Clips salon team in Tyler (Shiloh) as an Assistant Salon Manager. This leadership role combines cutting hair with supporting daily salon operations, running shifts, coaching stylists, keeping guests moving, and helping the team succeed. Management experience is not required; training and support are provided. The role offers leadership growth opportunities, including potential advancement to Salon Manager or other leadership positions. The salon provides a guaranteed competitive base wage, with total pay of $25–$40 per hour from base pay, tips, and commission based on performance. Additional compensation includes productivity commission and up to 25% product commission. Other stated offerings include paid ongoing training, seven paid holidays, up to three weeks of accrued paid time off, health insurance, and a retirement plan with a match. Scheduling is flexible, with dependable retail hours.
Requirements
- Valid cosmetology and/or barber license; requirements vary by state or province.
- Strong technical haircutting skills.
