About The Position

Toyo Tire North America OE Sales, LLC is looking to hire an Assistant Sales Manager, who will report to the Sales Director of the original equipment division in White, Georgia. This position will manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process for the department as well as plan, develop, and implement programs to achieve sales goals. Additional duties will include developing long and short-term sales planning programs and objectives and evaluate the effectiveness of current sales programs. The Assistant Sales Manager will also maintain good business relationships with existing accounts and prospect for future sales opportunities.

Requirements

  • Product/industry knowledge
  • Excellent oral and written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word)
  • Goal and customer service oriented
  • Ability to travel locally and internationally (Canada or Mexico) as needed for business with some need for overnight accommodations
  • Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving history
  • Ability to follow Company policies and safety guidelines

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in auto parts manufacturing industry is highly desired.

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the Toyo product line, including features, benefits, warranties, sizing, and applications
  • Handle the Request for Quote (RFQ) process
  • Plan, develop and implement programs for accounts within the division to achieve sales goals
  • Assists in the development and formulation of long and short-term sales planning, programs, and objectives
  • Evaluates effectiveness of current sales programs
  • Analyze and negotiate market pricing
  • Report as necessary on sales activities and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain good business relationships with key accounts through periodic contacts and proper handling of sales and administrative functions
  • Conduct market gathering activities to have a solid understanding of competitor offerings
  • Make suggestions on products, sales programs, and policies, etc
  • Other duties as assigned
