The Assistant Safety Manager provides oversight, auditing, and leadership support to ensure consistent application of Mullins Mechanical safety standards and employee protection from known hazards. This is a remote/hybrid-focused position with regular nationwide travel. The role involves conducting corporate-level safety audits, reviewing and approving project-specific safety plans, identifying and resolving systemic safety issues, and supporting project teams and field safety staff. The Assistant Safety Manager will also build strategic relationships to influence culture and engagement, ensure project compliance with Mullins Mechanical requirements, and oversee proper staffing of safety personnel. Additionally, the role involves overseeing trade partnership development and pre-qualification, ensuring effectiveness of trade partner pre-construction meetings, and monitoring corrective action implementations. Support for training and continuous improvement initiatives is also a key part of the role.
