About The Position

The Assistant Retail Manager supports the General Manager or Director in the overall success of the operation. The role includes ensuring compliance with the client’s culture and guidelines, Health Department regulations, and company standards and policies. The manager motivates, trains, develops, and directs employees to meet operational objectives and satisfy customers and the client. This position manages day-to-day retail service, plans special functions, maintains cash controls and payroll records, oversees hiring of frontline team members, and completes operational reports.

Requirements

At least 2 years of retail operational management experience.
Experience in restaurants, hotels, corporate dining, education, military, health care, and/or related food service operations.
Experience with cash retail operations.
Proficient computer skills and knowledge of MS Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet.

Nice To Haves

Retail marketing experience.
Associate degree.
