Assistant Residence Manager
About The Position
Saratoga Bridges is seeking experienced DSPs to transition into an Assistant Residence Manager (ARM) role. In this position, you will act as the lead on shifts, guiding Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) and assisting with the training of new employees. You will also be responsible for planning outings, managing food shopping, and overseeing personal accounts for the individuals in the home. ARMs participate in an on-call rotation, assist with staffing, and may float to other homes as needed. This role offers a chance to make a significant difference in the lives of individuals with developmental disabilities.
Requirements
- A valid driver's license
- High School diploma/GED
- A year of experience working with people who have a developmental disability, preferably in OPW services.
Responsibilities
- Act as the lead on shifts with DSPs
- Help new DSPs learn on the job
- Plan outings with the people living at the home
- Perform food shopping
- Manage each person's personal accounts
- Participate in the on-call rotation
- Assist with staffing
- Float to other homes as needed
