About The Position

The Assistant Regional Manager is responsible for coordinating and supporting the Utilities Regional Manager across Colorado, Nebraska, Arizona, Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota, Wyoming, Iowa, Missouri, California, and Nevada as well as helping to expand into new areas. This role works in tandem with the Regional Manager to support daily operations and works in close proximity with all active project managers as well as the Administrative Project Manager. The Assistant Regional Manager will work closely with the Administrative Project Manager on the administrative staff to help coordinate mobilizations, track project timelines, and help to ensure project documentation is done accurately and timely. The Assistant Regional Manager will also help with project bidding, estimations, and site visits.

Requirements

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing plans
  • Understanding of invoicing processes, job costing, and production tracking
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Relevant experience in vegetation management, operations, or project management, with experience supervising teams
  • Strong leadership & communication skills to effectively motivate and manage diverse teams
  • Familiarity with industry regulations & safety standards related to Vegetation Management
  • Proficiency in project management software & Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support for the Regional Manager
  • Maintain visibility of all active projects and track against estimated deadlines
  • Communicate with Project Managers daily to keep up to date on job site progress and needs
  • Assist the Regional Manager with job site tours and estimates
  • Must be familiar with contract information and scope of work on a per job basis
  • Travel as directed by Regional Manager
  • Site visits and on the ground crew support
  • Help with Business Development opportunities
  • Support invoicing by compiling job documentation and supporting data
  • Track Project progress against billing milestones outlined in the contract
  • Send all current updates to administrative project manager to keep accurate and audit ready project files
  • Work with Administrative Project Manager and Regional Manager to identify gaps in scheduling, personnel needs, and mobilizations
  • Work with Administrative Project Manager to ensure all files, photos, and project documentation are in place to keep a consistent cadence for invoicing
  • Communicate regularly with onsite project managers to ensure all personnel and job sites needs are met, help mitigate issues, and communicate with clients and customers as needed
  • Track & Analyze project performance metrics, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing necessary changes
  • Coordinate staffing needs for projects and ensure that teams are adequately trained and equipped
