About The Position

Under general supervision, assist and performs professional and technical real property activities involved in the acquisition of real property, right-of-way, and easements; and performs related duties as assigned. The eligibility list may be utilized to fill vacancies for this classification for up to six (6) months or up to one (1) year, depending on employment status. External candidates, probationary full-time, part-time, and temporary City of Henderson employees will start at the first step of the salary range, if selected.

Requirements

• Graduation from high school, or the equivalent and professional courses in real estate
• Two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience in public right-of-way and acquisition of property
• Must obtain a bond and Nevada Secretary of State notarial appointment and obtain an appointment as a Notary Public within the first ninety (90) days of employment as condition of continued employment
• Must possess and maintain a valid Nevada or “border state” driver’s license, as defined by NRS 483

Nice To Haves

• Completed courses or certification designation by the International Right-of-Way Association (IRWA)
