About The Position

The Assistant Property Manager is responsible for overseeing the leasing and Res Life processes within Hastings College Housing. This role involves direct oversight of leasing, residence life, marketing, facilities, customer engagement, and overall team supervision and development. The Assistant Property Manager serves as the company liaison to Hastings College and Scott Residential Management leadership teams, providing support and guidance to managers and staff when complex issues arise. They also work with HR on employee disciplinary matters and ensure the property's curb appeal reflects the value of service provided through clean and well-maintained grounds and facilities.

Requirements

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Bachelor's degree in Property Management, Business Administration, or related field required.
• A minimum of 3 years of leasing or property experience.
• Previous management experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Nice To Haves

• Five years of management experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures the property’s curb appeal reflects the value of service we provide with clean and well-maintained grounds and facilities.
